The Role
- On the tools preparing financial statements for a diverse group of clients in a wide range of industries
- An understanding of accounting and general business principles and an ability to communicate these to clients from all industries while maintaining client service excellence
- Develop a range of non-traditional accounting skills with a view to assisting clients in all facets of their business
- Mentor junior professionals
Your Skills
- Experienced Business Services Accountant with 5+ years’ experience
- CA / CPA / IPA membership
- Strong analytical skills to interpret client numbers, not just produce a set of financials
- Strong communication skills to deliver the insights
- Proficient in all the usual software and interested in investigating others

Bookkeeper – Accountants’ Office
Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)

The Role
The clients you will work with are from a diverse range of industries and backgrounds. Your role will be to maintain their financial records both from our offices as well as the clients’ premises. The role will include:
- Single Touch Payroll, payroll processing, superannuation reconciliations and year end finalisations
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- BAS / IAS preparation
- Accounting file set ups – Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks – including initial and ongoing client training
- Attending client meetings both individually and jointly with the accountants as required
- Assisting clients where required in developing their own internal administration and financial systems and processes
Your Skills
- Minimum two years in a comparable role within an accounting practice
- Demonstrated payroll experience including award interpretation, leave accruals, payroll tax and SGC
- Experienced in multiple accounting and operational software packages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Administrative Assistant – Accountants’ Office

The Role
We are looking for a motivated Administration Assistant who will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:
- Secretarial support for the Accountants & Bookkeepers
- Reception duties
- Collating tax returns and activity statements, formatting documents, proof reading, editing
- Mail inwards & outward
- Liaising with clients via email, phone, in person
- Liaising with the ATO
- Liaising with ASIC
- ASIC corporate secretarial responsibilities
- General MYOB AO / Greatsoft / Nimbus Database maintenance
- Diary management with appointments
- General and ad-hoc administration duties
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have had 3-5 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm, and possess the following:
- A motivated, mature and proactive attitude
- Keen eye, with attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously, taking ownership of the role
- Present professionally at all times
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Experience with Fusedocs, MYOB AO/AE, Greatsoft, Nimbus, BGL360 & CAS360, is an advantage
