Mark Herron
Director
It is all about the relationships. "Technical skills are important, particularly in the ever-changing business world, but you need a relationship with your clients. A relationship where you can discuss with them the moving parts. What’s new, what’s changed, the cause and effect – without these skills, the technical ability is almost irrelevant."
After years of small business ownership, Mark joined the accounting profession in 2000 with ‘Herron Accountants’ becoming a reality in 2010.
Mark’s greatest asset is his ability to speak with business owners from experience, recognise issues before they become significant and offer advice in in a timely and jargon free manner. Complex issues can be broken down into solvable parts and this adds value. The strength and longevity of his relationships with his clients, is a testament to him and the firm.
Outside of work, it’s family, friends, food and wine. He’s always happy to both give and receive recommendations on a good butcher.
